From this, performance indicators are realised and we build dashboards to capture performance data in real-time. Together, this analysis and build of data systems helps you build a culture around performance and data.
  • Data system design - Before building any data collection system (e.g. a CMS) there is a specialist field involving deciding which metrics need to be collected, how to report and structure a data system.
  • Briefing CMS design - Get better results from a CMS or IT provider with a detailed functional brief that reduces re-work and makes CMS implementation smooth and useful.
  • Outcomes measurement - Building frameworks and choosing the right metrics for progressive and final client outcomes, and using this to help deliver better programs.
  • Evaluating impact - Using dashboards and analytics, help managers and staff to define the right client-centred performance metrics, track performance and use the data for improvement.
  • Data analytics - using modern analytic tools to understand hidden patterns in data to help with service design, strategic decisions or understand root causes of performance issues.
  • Data culture - Build the capability of staff to collect and use data that gives them the means to improve client outcomes.
  • Dashboarding and reporting - Design and develop digital dashboards that present useful, real-time data to key decision makers in your organisation - for the Board, executive, managers, frontline staff and even for clients themselves.
  • Machine Learning - Using the latest analytic tools to build predictive models that assist in managing risk, tailoring services, improving efficiency or delivering better outcomes.

Data & Performance Framework
  • Identify aspirations and gaps using our Diagnostic tool
  • Building on what you already have, design a comprehensive data system that incorporates outcomes measurement, program logic, reporting, analysis and dashboards to ensure the right data is used to help make strategic and operational decisions
  • Program logic and service design improvement - linking in outcomes and showing how the service model delivers outcomes for clients
  • We help define all the metrics you need to collect, how you collect them, which need to be validated measures and which are for internal performance improvement and reporting.
  • Deliver capability building to managers and teams (including through online learning) to ensure people have the skills to use data to improve team performance
  • Build a continuous improvement system that uses data to test hypotheses, and find out what works
  • Do deep dive practical data analytics of existing or new data to uncover insights on what clusters / segments of needs clients have, where the risks are, and what factors lead to achievement of outcomes and what factors are barriers to outcomes and results

Funding and growth: The Proactive Growth approach
  • Building on the data system, support the organisation to develop new funding opportunities for its highest-performing programs 
  • Develop outcomes-based funding proposals including avoided cost analysis, shared financial models and delivery systems that takes your submissions to a higher level of rigour and accountability
  • Support organisations to respond to Social Impact Bonds or other forms of formal outcomes-based contracting tender opportunities

Process and system integration
  • Assist the CFO / IT team to integrate the data / client impact system with the financial, workforce and program management systems to ensure useful data is obtained (e.g. ability to calculate cost per impact) and integrated
  • Build linkages between these systems and legacy (or new) Client Relationship Management  / client management / IT systems (including functional briefs to ensure your IT investments are focused on producing useful data)
