SIMNA awards winner for OUTSTANDING COLLABORATION in Impact Measurement

Updated: 4 days ago

We are thrilled to share some exciting news!

Our collaborative partnership with Community Colleges Australia (CCA), has been awarded the 2024 SIMNA Award for Outstanding Collaboration in Social Impact Measurement for our work building the Adult and Community Education (ACE) Data Collaboration!

This project has transformed how data is used in Adult and Community Education, empowering 27 ACE providers with a live, shared data system to track student needs and outcomes.

This initiative isn’t just about data - it’s about using collective intelligence to drive lasting change and share knowledge across a whole sector. The insights gained help the colleges to advocate for the sector, improve student outcomes and build a sense of shared purpose.

We are proud to showcase how shared knowledge and data can improve our collective ability to address complex social challenges.

Thank you, SIMNA for this incredible recognition and for all the work you do to improve and highlight social impact measurement in Australia.

A huge thanks to the judges for their time and thoughtful consideration and congratulations to all the other finalists - your projects are inspiring examples of the impact we can achieve through collaboration.

A special thank you to the people who drove the project from the start - Theresa Collignon from Macquarie Community College, Kerry Johnson from ACE Community College and Evelyn Goodwin from  Community Colleges Australia for partnering with us on this important collaboration project - it’s been an honour to work together to drive meaningful change in the sector.

The Latitude team of Dale Renner, Palermo Moyo, Rhea Favero and Rahul Sirpur were key to making such a complex technical project happen (more than 70 individual datasets integrated and visualised drawing live data from across a sector).

"We are really excited to have won - to be honest we were really excited to be nominated. Latitude and Dale have been exceptional- we wouldn’t have been able to even dream this project without their input and hard work." Kerry Johnston CEO ACE Community Colleges

We’re proud to be part of such a collaborative, dedicated and innovative community!
